Christchurch – Waipara Wine, City and Sheep Farm

The tour starts in Christchurch City and you get to see the best of the city’s sights, architecture and how we have transformed the City from the devastating earthquake in February 2011. You then head north to an authentic working farm overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

The tour starts in Christchurch City and you get to see the best of the city’s sights, architecture and how we have transformed the City from the devastating earthquake in February 2011. You then head north to an authentic working farm overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This is real New Zealand where you can get up close and personal to a sheep being shorn and watch sheep dogs in action.

You then take a tour of the farm whilst you take in the breathtaking coastal views and the dramatic cliffs. Enjoy a catered picnic from “Louise’s Lookout”.

And your tour still has more to come – you will be taken to Georges Road Wines for a wine tasting before being returned to Christchurch City. Please note the winery does not permit persons under the age of 18 years to sample wine due to licensing restrictions. Duration 6 hours.
