An excursion that explores Napier’s art deco architecture and rich history. Included is a visit to a historic Winery for tastings

Welcome to the oldest Wine growing region and New Zealand’s premium Red Wine growing region, set around Napier, the Art Deco Capital of the World.

The excursion includes sightseeing, sample some fabulous world class Wines before (or after) exploring Napier and its world-famous Art Deco City.

This part of New Zealand has been a well-kept “Secret Tourist Destination” for a long time. Now it’s time for visitors, like you, to explore and enjoy this unique region of the world with your guide on the day.

This customized shore excursion is designed to take advantage of every minute you are ashore. This itinerary is suitable for almost every ship visiting this unique part of New Zealand. We understand that every vessel has a different amount of Port time and the excursion will be crafted to work for you, the visitor.

As a general rule we will cover this excursion as indicated. Should there be any changes in your ships arrival and/or departure times, we will make all necessary adjustments to the itinerary to ensure you get to experience the area as close to what is promised to you as possible on the day, and you are back on board in plenty of time for sailing.

Please do note: As all Wineries  are independently owned and operated, we may need to offer a replacement on the day if for some reason one or the other is not open.

Special requirements
The minimum age to consume alcohol is 18 years in NZ. ID maybe requested if the client appears to be 25 years or younger.
Any age can be catered for. Children cannot sit on parents laps in any motor vehicle in NZ. They must use the restraints supplied in the vehicle. We do not supply baby seats. We encourage the parents to use their own baby seats.
