Overview

This is a fully guided Dunedin sightseeing day tour with a small group. First stop is at the New Zealand’s infamous Larnach Castle, which was built by William Larnach over a century ago. Situated up on the hills of the Otago Peninsula, en-route to the Castle offers breath-taking views.

Your guide will escort you throughout the entire castle, from the gun room below to the views from the turret and all the marvels in between. Get all the details as you explore the Larnach family’s legacy and hear the tale of their amazing story.

The tour then takes you to visit the family tomb of William Larnach. After that, there will be a stop at Dunedin Railway Station to admire the architecture and take photos.

After spending few minutes at the railway station, We drive through the University Campus area and if time permits we will stop to view the old Clock Tower Building. Baldwin Street, the world’s steepest street.

Finally, We drive past the Botanical Gardens with commentary on their origin and abundance of exotic and native plants.  After an unforgettable day we guarantee to have you back at the port for your ships departure.
